Monetary Needs

The majority of the gifts given are collected at area churches, schools and businesses.  Those gifts are not all that are needed though.  We do seek monetary donations to fill many of our gift requests.  If you, your business or organization is interested in making a donation of any amount, please send your check payable to "Our Neighbor's Child" and mail it to:

Our Neighbors Child
P.O. Box 276
Centreville, VA 20120

Many charities spend too much on overhead, so when we started Our Neighbor's Child, we decided that ALL donations from the public would go toward the purchase of gifts of toys or clothing for a child in need.  All public relations, storage, office, organizational and administrative expenses are paid for by members of our founding Board.  Sixteen years later, our small all-volunteer staff of Project Leaders is still able to coordinate the community's efforts and work with more than 400 local volunteers - without spending a penny of your donation to get it done!

Our Neighbor's Child has been recognized as a 501(c) 3 organization and all donations are fully deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines.  We will cheerfully provide a written receipt for any donation made for tax purposes.  Additionally, with your permission, we will be recognizing all corporate sponsors on this web-site.  If you would rather remain anonymous, let us know and your request will be honored.

When you donate to Our Neighbor's Child you know exactly where your money's being spent, along with the great feeling you'll get from helping a local child in need.

E-mail our treasurer Karen Moore at kk1mo@aol.com with any questions you may have.
